Information you provide to us
The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to give us through the contact form: your subject, name, email address and message. When you press Submit, the form does not send your details to a server or database - it opens your own device's email app with a pre-filled message addressed to info@mikeslaptops.co.uk, and it's sent only once you choose to send that email yourself. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, and we don't sell, rent or share it with third parties.
If you call, WhatsApp or email us directly using the links on this site, that conversation is handled the same way it would be for any phone call, message or email you send us.
Cookies and third-party embeds
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The Contact section embeds a Google Maps view so you can find our shop - loading that embed may allow Google to set its own cookies in your browser, governed by Google's Privacy Policy. A short notice about this appears when you first visit the site.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it's used. Since we only hold what you send us by email, this simply means asking us to delete or amend that email - contact us using the details above.
